The first annual Turkey Trot in Lyons was a resounding success!
The run, a collaboration between the Lyons Community Center and Wayne County Community Schools, featured approximately 40 participants on Saturday, November 25th. The event was split into three sections: runners and walkers lined up for the first wave of the event, and kids joined in later for the fun run obstacle course by the Lyons Elementary School.
Support for the event came from the Wayne County Community Schools team, Lyons Central School District, Lyons Community Center, the Ohmann Theater - and, of course, the Lyons community!
