Safe Dates

9th - 12th Grades

Safe Dates is a ten-session program that targets attitudes and behaviors associated with dating abuse and violence.   


Hazelden Store: Safe Dates Third Edition  10 Lessons.  


The curriculum aims to: 

  1. Increase knowledge about healthy vs. abusive relationships. 

  2. Teach communication skills. 

  3. Identify effective anger management strategies. 

  4. Improve conflict resolution skills. 

  5. Decrease stereotypical beliefs and attitudes that promote dating abuse
